Ridder Arena

We are proud to say that Ridder Arena is our home for both practices and home games.

Ridder Arena was opened in 2002, and it was the first arena built specifically for Women’s College Hockey. The arena seats 3400 people. This capacity includes 210 club seats and 9 suites. We are ecstatic to have this beautiful facility be our home.

The team locker room includes an equipment storage where players can keep their equipment during the season and off-season.

University Recreation and Wellness Center

Athletes on our team have full access to the Recreation and Wellness facility located on campus. The Recreation and Wellness facility offers our team access to:

– Expanded Weight / Fitness Areas: Four-level, state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training area, allowing multiple zones to suit the individual needs of students.

– Indoor Cycling Studio: Offers space for 45 bikes and a cutting-edge sound and video system.

– Private area for non-invasive health screenings

– Body Composition Testing

– Wellness Information Area

The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) was founded in 1991 and is the National Governing Body for Non-NCAA Collegiate Hockey throughout the United States.

This organization of more than 461 colleges and university-affiliated teams representing 48 states and 2 Canadian provinces provides a structure, regulates operations, and promotes the sport of Hockey nationwide.

The primary mission of the ACHA is to support the growth of Collegiate Hockey while emphasizing academic performance, personal development and opportunities for regional, national and international competition.
